GLC Deck - Bye Bye: Bench Beat Dark

bye bye started out as a fun weekly cook off idea that slowly morphed into a deck i started to truly believe in. swalot was easily one of my favorite cards to use over the latter half of 2024, he's just a bulldozer sometimes. the grouping of specialized and reactive attackers make this deck feel like it has a solid shot into a good bit of matchups. alolan meowth donk is the main t1 to shoot for, and evolving into alolan persian afterwards can keep some pressure on the board against slower decks. swalot is the main attacker, a solid beatstick that can swing for 170 with flexible energy costs and can be incredibly punishing toward bench sitter stage 2's. mabosstiff allows for swalot and persian to get cheap prize cards while also not being a terrible attacker itself in a pinch. weavile helps into the big 3 and other ability heavy decks and zoroark can take down set up threats or abuse your opponents unique attacks. grimmsnarl is the late game bomb that can create checkmate scenarios with goad n grab or just hit 160 to the face. piers can be used as a faux 3rd revenge supporter and can really clutch some awkward board states. the deck is still being tinkered with but i think the recent changes have trimmed the fat and added more general utility and consistency. discord @jaboingus for any questions or suggestions (o-o). (name inspired by Bye Bye Ja Ne by Motohiro Hata) ATTENTION: AS OF 4/24/25 THIS DECK HAS BEEN LAID TO REST. RIP DOUBLE ENERGIES AND RIP BYE BYE
