When Ting-Lu came out I really wanted to build a different kind of spread deck around it as I didn't think it really fit into the HitmonBros archetype. That big vase/pot that Ting Lu wears on it's head looks a bit like a hat so I decided to include as many hats as I could in this deck so that Ting-Lu's style doesn't upstage everyone else. All meme's aside Lucky Helmet, Pot Helmet and Rocky Helmet provide draw support, survivability and damage spread respectively and all contribute to this fighting lists game plan. The aim is to spread as much as possible whilst looking stylish AF doing it. Hitmonlee, Palossand and Ting Lu will spread in the early game in order to build up to the star of the deck, Rhyperior, who will decimate or completely board wipe your opponent at the end of the game. Going behind in prizes is not a problem as you can use counter catcher and reversal energy to help get you into a good position for Rhyperior to Bedrock Shake and take back the game. Lucario and Bloodmoon are here to get rid of larger hurdles that would otherwise disrupt your spread and help you get knockouts to look for anything that might be prized. Also combining Pot Helmet and Stone Energy can usually guarantee that you'll be swinging more than once making that board wipe more of a reality with each attack.
