GLC Deck - Hydro Spring

A Hydro Pump Deck that focuses on piling energies onto your Pokémon to win the game The goal is to get out Blastoise or Frosmoth as soon as possible and put energies onto your main attackers to deal MASSIVE damage. The 3 main attackers of the deck are Blastoise, Wailord and Veluza. Your back up attackers are Inteleon and Basculegion. Inteleon can deal a good chunk of damage for an efficient amount of energy, and Basculegion shuffles your energy back into your deck to reuse in the end game. Inteleon and Octilery are your support Pokémon. Either of these can give you a huge advantage, whether that is drawing a ton of cards throughout the game, or searching for the exact trainers you need, Vulpix and Basculin are great starters as they find you multiple Pokémon, while starting with Sobble, Frosmoth, Veluza or Snom isn't terrible either. Manaphy is there for matchups against spread. While the deck runs a lot of basics and bench space can be complicated, playing through the deck should not be too complicated. Manaphy only needs to be benched in certain match ups, Alolan Vulpix doesn't need to be benched in the late game, and Veluza is also worse in the late game, but is really good in the early game. Based on these factors, here's a list of Pokemon to prioritize in the early game vs late game Early game: 1: Basculin 2: Vulpix 3: Frosmoth 4: Remoraid 5: Sobble 6: Veluza 7: Wailmer 8: Squirtle (moves up higher if you can get both Blastoise and Rare Candy) Match Up Dependent: Manaphy Mid Game: Late Game: 1: Sobble line 2: Frosmoth 3: Octillery 4: Blastoise 5: Wailord 6: Veluza 7: Intelion 8: Vupix Match Up Dependent: Manaphy Late Game: 1: Wailord 2: Blastoise 3: Veluza 4: Frosmoth 5: Basculegion 6: Intelion 7: Octillery 8: Vupix Match Up Dependent: Manaphy Finally, as a Hydro Pump deck, the deck runs 11 energy, as sometimes it can be harder to shuffle the energy back and get the amount of energy you need.
