Psychic got some minor buffs with the Shrouded Fable expansion, introducing better attackers as well as unique consistency cards. These additions help push this psychic combination archetype to being the standard way (in my opinion) to play psychic. With the recent banning of Marshadow, this opens the door to use Celebrations Mew to add another layer of consistency to find key item cards like Buddy-Buddy Poffin, Rare Candy, and all the Pokéballs you will need. Xatu also got a sneaky buff with the Night Stretcher, allowing recovery of basic energy from the discard pile to more often use clairvoyant sense, accelerate energy and draw more cards. The Cresselia is a new attacker that can allow for deeper prize knowledge while dealing lots of damage, outclassing the sometimes-inconsistent Paradox Rift Latios. pairing this deck with the Tinkaton and Kirlia-Gallade engines adds the amount of consistency this deck needs to be aggressive as a setup deck. Consistency is the name of the game with this deck, and Shrouded Fable was a giant leap towards that.
