GLC Deck - Rainbow Self Mill (Fighting)

Fighting is one of those types that are interesting. There isn't a lot of support with fighting, and therefore players who play fighting can have a lot of trouble winning due to lack of continuous resources. But Fighting can do what fighting does best, hit fast and hit hard. In addition, Fighting has a lot of good resources for Self Mill, and this deck takes advantage of that. Drilbur not only gives us a mini Battle Compressor wrapped into one Pokémon, but it also allows us to play Eleventh Hour Tackle Excadrill. With this self mill strategy, Hisuian Arcanine and Coalossal truely shine, as you can effectively power up a Hisuian Arcanine in one turn. For our other Pokémon, we use Lycanroc for extra discard pile advantage. Okidogi is the strongest fighting type in GLC, and if we're already using Fire, Dark isn't that much of a stretch for the deck Finally, Carbink and the newest addition Falinks allows us to set up on Turn 1 or Turn 2 depending if we go first or second. Falinks can also take a KO on turn 2 if our opponent plays slow For Supporters, we run Carmine in addition to Professor's, as we want to mill ourselves a lot. It's also the reason we run a BUNCH of recovery and Lana's Aid . While putting some cards into the hand is good, the deck uses 1/10th of it's slots to bring cards back from the discard pile. So while sending cards to the hand is good, you can also send cards to the discard pile and put them into your hand the next turn. We run Crispin as we run 3 types of energy and any energy acceleration is good in this deck. We also run Colress's Tenacity to search for Luminous Energy and a Brooklet Hill or Pokestop on turn 1, fueling Okidogi and giving us an extra basic. The deck runs 19 Item cards to try and maximize the hits from Pokestop. In ANY Pokestop GLC deck, Trainers' Mail AND Pokegear 3.0 (and VS Seeker) are necessary, as those are item cards that can lead us into a supporter for turn. Finally Energy wise, we only need to run 1 special energy, Luminous Energy. While this card is RARELY played in GLC, it's the perfect fit for this deck. While rainbow energies are nice for the deck, if we put too many into this deck, we end up milling them without being able to put them back into the hand. With my current playtesting, 1 special energy works well with the deck, as even with 12 energy, the deck mills it's own energies really fast. Finally, while rainbow or aurora could be nice, because Luminous Energy is the only special energy, there is no downside to playing it as it's drawback doesn't exist in this deck. I hope some of you see this deck and take interest in it. It's really fun for me to goldfish and play in tourney and I hope others can have fun with it as well!!!
