A deck that values damaging your opponents Pokémon and then finishing them off with a heavy attacker or TM Devolution. This deck focuses on dealing constant damage instead of more popular Munkidori + Giratina loops that are supported by Xatu and Malamar Uxie, Weezing and Mismagius put reliable damage on the board while Azelf, Wobbufett and Tapu Lele use those damage counters to get big K.O.s Cleffa, Kirlia and Gallade give you card advantage, while Malamar gives you energy acceleration. Finally, Mr. Mime is for opposing spread decks, as many of our own Pokémon have low HP. We'd prefer to trade them one at a time. Some techs / notes for the deck - Out of our spread attackers, only Weezing deals actual damage, so a way to prevent bench barrier isn't really needed as it prevents damage to the bench - Azelf might look too redundant, but it's ability to be gotten off Buddy-Buddy Poffin and the difference between "Equal to the damage counters on the opponent's defending Pokémon" v.s. "Equal to the damage counters on ALL of the opponent's Pokémon" is HUGE in a deck that can deal a total of 10 damage counters across 5 Pokémon. It adds up FAST and can turn on an early game Neurokenisis K.O. as early as T2. That's something our blue punching bag cannot do. "Patch Notes" V2: - I took out Professor's research for Colress and N and decided not to run it. I thought shuffling back would be better for this deck. In addition, we run 2 different "Both players shuffle equal to prize cards" + Marnie Supporters, something I normally don't do in my decks, so we can take advantage of being behind on prizes. Same deal with counter catcher. V3: - Turns out Bravery charm kept getting blown with field blower so it didn't help much - Tapu Lele didn't work with the plan of the deck. It would just remove counters by getting K.O.s, which stopped the deck from actually doing damage - I LOVE Rika, I just needed more room in the deck - Escape Rope and Scoop up net do similar things for this deck. Taking rope out means we can "switch" without accidently forcing the opponent's Pokémon out. In addition, if we are forced to play a basic we don't want to, we can scoop it up off the bench instead.
