GLC Deck - Turbo Hand Lock

The pinnacle of control throughout all of Pokemon TCG has been hand lock, in fact it was so good in expanded that they have banned every card that can achieve it, but in GLC there are still cards legal that can discard your opponents whole hand and manipulate their top deck. The deck always wants to go first to bench phantump t1, and if able, kirlia so that t2 trevenant can be put into the active giving the opponent only 1 chance to use item cards. This will give you the time needed to get to the lock The lock goes; 1) rip through your deck getting to 0 cards while setting up, musharna, gothite, kirlia and your opponent has taken at least 3 prizes 2) have these cards in hand -counter catcher | -delinquent -reset stamp. | -hex maniac -Lt. surge. | -energy -rare candy. | -gothitelle ~if needed 👇 -target whistle/poké puff -Excape rope (if u don’t have a free retreater) - a stadium if one isn’t in play 3) Set the lock -a) switch into musharna and attach energy -b) use poké puff or whistle if needed and counter catcher a Pokémon that can’t attack and has a retreat cost of 1 or more -c) reset stamp the opponent to 3 or less cards -d) put a stadium in play if needed then play lt. surge and delinquent getting opponent to 0 cards in hand -e) rare candy into gothitelle and use ability to put a dead card on top of the deck eg. (poké balls, rescue stretchers, pokemon) -f) play hex maniac 4) shuffle in hex maniac, lt surge and bellelba with musharna 5) they draw the dead card and pass with no available actions 6) draw for turn and draw with kirlia, play surge, and bellelba then put a dead card on top with gothitelle then play hex. 7) repeat from step 4 till they deck out or you find 2 useful cards on top of their deck (no problem tho just play the backup) . BACKUP You need to make sure that you always have these cards in hand for when you hit two good cards -rescue stretcher/super rod -vs seeker -shrine of memories To recover these cards mid lock you can shuffle in hex + 2 others and skip milling for a turn The backup goes a) use rod/stretcher to shuffle 3 into deck b) play shrine of memories c) use munna’s attack to look at the top 4 and put a dead card on top d) draw the 3 cards in deck and pay vs seeker for hex, then continue on from step 4 BONUS Using kirlia to draw puts your hand at a negative as you have to discard a card to draw, you can shuffle in rescue carrier to go card positive. That’s is the lock
